Children will explore the vibrant colors, patterns, and traditions of Mexican art. Inspired by traditional crafts and famous styles, children will create paintings, paper flowers, murals, and textile-inspired projects. Through art, music, and stories, children will develop creativity, fine motor skills, and cultural appreciation.

El Mercado 🛒 (The Market)

Welcome to the Latin market! Children will engage in pretend play as they buy and sell fruits, vegetables, and traditional foods. They will practice Spanish vocabulary, counting, colors, and social skills. Cooking activities, sorting foods, and role-playing will support language development, math concepts, and cooperation.

¡Vamos al Rancho! 🐓 (Let’s Go to the Ranch)

Children will discover life on a ranch and learn about farm animals, plants, and where food comes from. Through sensory play, songs, stories, and outdoor activities, children will build a connection with nature, responsibility, and respect for animals.

Ritmos Latinos 🎶

Children will explore music and movement from different Latin cultures, including salsa, cumbia, and mariachi. Using instruments, dance, and creative movement, children will express themselves while developing coordination and rhythm. We will also have professional dancers and musicians visiting us this week.

De la Milpa a la Mesa 🌽 (From the Garden to the Table)

Children will learn how traditional foods grow, focusing on ingredients like corn, beans, and tomatoes. They will plant, explore, and prepare simple foods through hands-on, sensory activities that encourage healthy habits and curiosity.
